Welding Preparation Assistant (m/f/d)

You will read technical drawings and determine the required chamfer dimensions on large metal sheets with a thickness of up to 250 mm Based on the drawing specifications, you will produce the chamfers for weld preparation You will further process the chamfers both by machine and by hand You will operate and monitor chamfering machines throughout the entire process You align the sheets correctly before machining and position them with precision You regularly check the dimensions and angles of the finished chamfers against the drawings You ensure a consistently high standard of weld preparation You carry out minor adjustments and maintenance work on the machines used independently You handle the material with care and ensure the safe transport of heavy sheet metal parts You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a design fitter (m/f/d), metalworker (m/f/d) or welding specialist (m/f/d) You have experience in reading and implementing technical drawings Ideally, you have already worked with large sheet metal or in the field of welding preparation You are characterised by manual dexterity and confidence in operating machinery Working carefully and precisely comes naturally to
