Process Engineer Electroplating (m/f/d)

In this role, you will operate, optimise and plan electroplating production facilities, procure them, commission them and oversee the processes As the person responsible for processes, you will take charge of the development of electrochemical production processes As part of development projects, you will plan, carry out, evaluate and document trials You will oversee electroplating in production, including the associated analytical work, and train production staff in electroplating You will commission in-house electroplating facilities, approve and monitor local electroplating companies and their processes both at home and abroad You apply process engineering methods in plant engineering, process optimisation and automation You implement environmental measures for wastewater treatment and develop sustainable manufacturing processes You will comply with and implement safety regulations when handling hazardous substances; you will also use CAD and CAE software for plant design, as well as process monitoring systems for electrochemical processes A successfully completed apprenticeship as an engineer, state-certified technician or master craftsman in electroplating, or alternatively a
