Core Responsibilities: Development of strategic and scientific concepts for the use of the MeerKAT extension, SKA and DSA-2000 Science commissioning activities for the MeerKAT extension, SKA-Low & Mid, and data verification including spectropolarimetry. Implementation and benchmarking with DDFacet, CubiCal, QuartiCal, etc.

Development and optimization of technologies for radio astronomical data, includes fast data processing, and investigation/implementation of next generation algorithms. Explore computational requirements, and set up pipelines/packages on high performance compute clusters Core Requirements: A PhD in Astrophysics or equivalent field of research A strong understanding of data calibration techniques, wide field of view imaging algorithms, and modeling direction dependent effects.
