Materials tester (m/f/d)

You carry out heat treatment using vacuum furnace technology on tools, fixtures and machine components You operate and monitor the heat treatment systems independently You prepare heat treatment batches by sorting, loading and arranging the items to be treated After heat treatment, you remove the batches and prepare them for further processing or dispatch You test material properties using standard mechanical material testing methods, such as hardness testing You evaluate the test results and compare them with the specifications You document process and test data carefully and in a traceable manner You ensure compliance with process parameters as well as quality and health and safety requirements You have completed vocational training as a materials tester (m/f/d), heat treatment specialist (m/f/d) or heat treatment technician (m/f/d) in the metal sector You have experience or an understanding of working with heat treatment systems and vacuum furnace technology You have knowledge of mechanical materials testing, for example hardness testing We require you to be available for shift work, including weekend shifts You have a basic command of spoken German (minimum level) A valid work
