Materials tester (m/f/d)

You carry out button-hole tests on resistance spot welds using a hammer and chisel You test the strength of welded and press-fit joints using testing machine-controlled compression, tensile and torque tests You produce micrographs by cutting, grinding, polishing and etching the samples You operate the cutting machine (angle grinder/plasma cutter) for sample preparation You carry out ultrasonic tests for the quality control of components You operate and monitor the testing machines used independently You document the test results and draw up the corresponding test reports You record and report any anomalies or deviations found during the tests You assist in the evaluation and interpretation of the test data You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a materials tester (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or machining mechanic (m/f/d) You have a very good command of written and spoken German You have already gained experience in the safe operation of machinery and testing equipment You are familiar with the use of cutting tools such as angle grinders or plasma cutters You are characterised by independent thinking and a meticulous approach to your work You demonstrate persev
