You plan, organise and manage transport operations for domestic and international shipments You also prepare and check freight documents, customs documents and delivery notes You will allocate vehicles, drivers and transport capacity You will also liaise with customers, freight forwarders, carriers and authorities You prepare quotations and calculate transport and logistics costs This also involves monitoring delivery dates and tracking shipments You also handle complaints and investigate transport damage You will maintain and manage customer and order data in the ERP/freight forwarding system You will prepare invoices and check freight costs Last but not least, you will carry out general administrative tasks as part of order processing You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk (m/f/d) or hold a comparable qualification Professional experience in the field
