Electronics technician for energy and building technology (m/f/d)

In this role, you will plan and prepare electrical installation work based on circuit diagrams and assembly plans, and lay wires and cables professionally in accordance with specifications You will be responsible for installing distribution boards, fuse boxes, sockets and switches You will install and connect lighting systems and lighting controls You will be responsible for installing smart home and building automation systems, for example those based on KNX You will connect domestic appliances, machinery and equipment, commission them, and also install photovoltaic systems, energy storage units and charging infrastructure for e-mobility You programme smaller sections of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) independently You will inspect electrical installations in accordance with VDE regulations, such as DIN VDE 0100, diagnose faults, rectify malfunctions and carry out repairs and maintenance work You will provide expert advice to your customers and carefully document the work carried out You have completed an apprenticeship as an electronics technician for energy and building services (m/f/d), an electrical fitter (m/f/d) or an electronics technician for industrial engineering
