Cutting machine operator (m/f/d)

You will set up modern CNC lathes and milling machines and programme them in accordance with technical drawings You will then operate the machines and monitor the ongoing production process You will manufacture prototypes, individual parts and small batches in accordance with technical drawings You will produce workpieces independently and subsequently check them for dimensional accuracy You check the finished parts using measuring instruments such as callipers and micrometres You select suitable tools and clamping devices and set up the machines accordingly Where necessary, you will adjust production parameters such as speed and feed rate to suit the specific workpiece You carry out minor maintenance and servicing work on the machines independently You document the production and inspection results in accordance with company guidelines You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a machinist (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or precision engineer (m/f/d) You have experience in setting up and operating CNC lathes and milling machines You have a good understanding of reading technical drawings You are confident in using measuring and testing equipment to check dimensional
