Cutting machine operator (m/f/d)

You will analyse technical drawings, CAD data and work plans and check the dimensions You will independently programme CNC machine tools such as milling, turning, grinding and, where applicable, EDM machines, or adapt existing programmes using CAM software You will machine hard materials such as metal and steel using CNC milling, turning and grinding techniques, achieving a high degree of dimensional accuracy in the micrometre range You will select, check and set up the necessary tools, such as milling cutters, drills and turning tools, as well as clamping devices You will set up, load and run-in both CNC and conventional machines You continuously monitor the machining process and intervene in the event of deviations Using precise measuring equipment, you check the finished workpieces accurately for dimensional accuracy, form and position tolerances, and surface finish You will assist with the manufacture, assembly, commissioning and repair of punching and forming tools You will carry out regular maintenance and minor repair work on machines and tools independently You create and optimise CNC programmes on Heidenhain control systems You have successfully completed an apprenticeship
