Your responsibilities You will operate and set up cycle-controlled CNC lathes with Siemens 840 controls You will machine medium to large components with a diameter of 350 to 1,000 mm with precision in accordance with drawing specifications You will create and optimise CNC programmes directly on the machine You will clamp and position workpieces correctly for each machining step You will monitor the turning process and take corrective action in the event of deviations You will check finished components for dimensional accuracy and quality using standard measuring equipment You will change tools and adjust cutting parameters as required You carry out minor maintenance and servicing work on the machine independently You document production data and report any anomalies to your line managers What we’re looking for You have completed an apprenticeship as a machinist (m/f/d), industrial m
