Accountant for Service Charges (m/f/d)

You will be responsible for settling service charges and reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts You will be responsible for checking tenants’ payments and identifying any arrears or overpayments You will filter and allocate costs, and also filter out non-recoverable costs It is your responsibility to determine whether each tenant has an outstanding balance (costs > advance payments) or a credit balance (costs You will also prepare and post statements of account, incorporate heating and hot water costs, and apply allocation keys Carrying out accruals and deferrals is also part of your remit You will post the settlement result to the relevant tenant’s account as a receivable (additional payment) or a liability (credit balance) In addition, you will be responsible for checking the statements for plausibility and preparing legally compliant correspondence for dispatch You will also calculate new advance payments You will process payments, prepare credit balances for disbursement via SEPA direct debit or bank transfer, and monitor the receipt of additional payments You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, e.g. as an office administrator (m/f/d), industrial clerk
