Technical Sales Estimator (m/f/d)

You will be responsible for costing individual parts, welded assemblies, sub-assemblies and complete production runs You will also calculate the costs of all existing production and machining processes Furthermore, you will determine the costs of materials, machinery, labour, set-up and external services You will also be responsible for assessing production times, machining sequences and economically viable batch sizes In doing so, you will review drawings, bills of materials, specifications and customer requirements You will also select suitable materials, manufacturing processes and production methods You will also obtain and evaluate material prices and quotes for external services You will prepare, edit and track quotations Last but not least, you will carry out preliminary and final cost calculations and analyse the results You will also clarify technical queries with customers and liaise with purchasing, work planning and production Responsibilities and competencies: You will be responsible for ensuring that cost calculations are complete, traceable and cost-effective You also ensure technical feasibility and accurate production costing In consultation with the relevant depar
